    Hi all :)

I have searched the forums several times, looked at a quite a few files in several skins but still can't figure it out.

How do you make the "glassy" layer appear over the thumbnails in the thumbnail panel??

No matter what I try, it always is under the thumbnails.

    Thanks in advance. ;)

..does not work in MP. The nofocus gfx is allways behind the thumbnail. Only the focus gfx is in front of the thumbnail. Would be nice if we can have a nofocus frame that will be also displayed in front of the thumbnail.
Perhaps a dev can add it to the MP Code. ( will ask for that in the team)
In Filmstripview we have the possiblity for that.

Thanks Harley, I can now stop wasting my time trying to figure it out. :)

This is such a fundamental skinning option, I would call that a bug.

Only the focus gfx is in front of the thumbnail.
Could you let me know how to achieve that?
Even when in focus, the gfx is still under the thumbnail whatever I try.

It would be nice to have a tag that'd give us the option.
    Example:
    <frameOnTop>yes|no</frameOnTop>
    <frameFocusOnTop>yes|no</frameFocusOnTop>

By the way, what is the difference between "<imageFolder>" and "<frame>"?
A skinning manual is sorely missing, there is so much skinning based on guesswork. :(

    P.S:
Very nice gfx at fotolia. :)

    Hi Harley...

I've never quite understood. What is the difference between an imagefolder and a frame, and how are they used?

What I'm wanting to do is have a background for the thumb (say, with a dropshadow), and have a separate overlay image for decoration (glass) and/or emphasis (bright colored outline).

.________________________ top layer (focus and unfocus states)
    ....____________________.... thumb
.________________________ bottom layer (focus and unfocus states)

    Thanks

    Chuck

yes, for that we need 4 gfx options:

unfocus gfx > behind the thumb
focus gfx > behind the thumb
frame gfx > in front of the thumb
framefocus gfx > in front of the thumb

then we can do all what we want there.

I have speak with "Bavarian" about it, he will take a look at it, if he can implement it.
