It could be nice to have the option to create thumbnails for videos (i've a lot of domestic videos). The way that this thumbnails should be created is the same that Haali Media Splitter do that, using a customizable offset for all thumbnails.

i dont know about the Haali Splitter, but if you mean that it should work like windows exploere, which creates thumbs of video files when you switch to the icon view, then this is allready working in MediaPortal 2.

Yes it's like windows explorer (in fact, haali works in windows explorer thumbnails), but haali has the option to select the offset for the thumbnail (5 seconds, for example). If this is included in MP2, then this are great news!!
