I have a very anoying problem :

I make a timed recording and put my pc in suspend.
5 minutes before the recording should start the pc wakes up fine, but it does not start to record. If i enter timed recordings it just says waiting on the recording. If i enter my tv and choose Turn on Tv then the recording starts.

There is propably some setting i need to activate but i cant find it i have tried everything i think.

Someone please help me.

And sorry for my lousy english, hope you understand my problem dispite it.

I have the exact same issue. It started after i upgraded to RC2. I should mention that i did not make a completely new install. I uninstalled RC 1 and the installed RC2 in the same folder, so it kept the databases.

i will investigate the log files later.

Same with me after I upgraded to RC2. The wife is unhappy because it missed her progs! Reverted back to RC1 and all is fine again. No log files I am afraid as was getting BIG earbashing at the time!

    Hi.

I have the same issue in RC2 , but i find other difference. When the record not start, TV GUIDE don't mark the programing overlaps. If i select two programs in the same time start, i don't have the "conflicting record" message.

I restart the system and the recordind and "conflicting records" signal is ok.

    The logs are ok...

    Hi.

I found a new difference. I'm connecting remotely to my HTPC in my house (VNC) and the recordings from this morning are ok. The difference is i have enabled the option to Re-init tuner in mediaportal Configuration.

Goddamn yes :) It worked after installing latest svn. Thanks alot.

But shouldnt this perhaps be corrected in the rc2 release itself? I mean, being able to make scheduled recordings is pretty important in a HTPC.
