If I enter manual control in TV Server if I select different channels and start timeshift it works just fine.
But if I try to start timeshift on some certain channels this error appears:

errorra3.jpg

Using TV client it's not possbile to tune to these channels, the others work just fine.
Most channels on this DVB-C network are not scrambled and I deleted the scrambled ones in TV Server config.

However watching these channels that don't work in TV Server 0.3 with TV engine 0.2 is no porblem - they play just fine there.

I can reproduce this error on two different computers with different DVB-C Cards (FloppyDTV DVB-c and KNC1 DVB-C)

I also get the same error (as you've noticed) but it seems to be with every channel in my case, both scrambled and unscrambled ones.
I wonder if it still works for Frodo since he has the firedtv himself...

Sometimes it will help to turn the PC off. I mean completely off, without power.
Wait 1h and turn it on again.

That's crazy, but it seems that MP cannot reset the TV cards correctly.

Have the same issue here with DVB-S.
It seems as if perception of the channels is quite poor or at least not as good as with TVEngine2.
    Don't understand why.
If i try one of the "bad" channel with TVEngine3 i get the error shown in the first post. Then i stop the tvservice and try to watch the same channel with TVEngine2 (without rebooting) and there it works

I have exactly the same problems.

I have returned to MP 0.2.2 for now, where everything works perfectly.
