timeshifting - how to turn off (1 Viewer)

how do you set the server up to allow watch live tv.. but have timeshifting turned off.

i have noticed that every 10mins or so a 260mb "TS" file added to the tvrecordings folder.

i now have 4 260mb files with about 30mins of live tv watching on one stream. at this rate my HDD will be full after a few hours !

I don't think it is possible to turn timeshifting off, as it seems to be an integral part of the way the tv-server functions. I could be wrong, though...

The number of buffer files will grow but should recycle themselves after 30min. If you have limited HDD space then try reducing the timeshift duration, or request that it can be altered. Remember that it's a TV Server for capturing and streaming to a network with clients so I suggest you should invest in a larger HDD if you plan to utilise these tvserver features.
