    Synopsis:

I have de-installed my PVR 350 and installed my new PVR 500. Now, I get the following error (excerpt from the error.log file:)

09.07.2006 23:20:42 Recorder: failed to start timeshifting since drive \: has less then 1GB freediskspace
    09.07.2006 23:20:42 Command:MediaPortal.TV.Recording.TimeShiftTvCommand failed reason:Nicht genug freier Speicher auf Festplatte time:31.25 msec

In my Television > Recording > Disk Quota Settings, I have chosen the C: drive (Total diskspace: 131.06 GB, Free diskspace: 119.50 GB; Delete recordings when there is less than 50.00 MB).

Any hints on how I can solve this?

    Thx

    G.

    Hi,
Have you set the folder for recording to C:\something?
You find this in MP Setup -> Television -> Capture Cards & select your card & Edit, should be on the first page.

    Regards
    Roy

Thanks Roy :) That was it!

My setting was \\Data\Aufnahmen, which obviously has not (but IMO should have) worked. I'll add that issue to the bug forum.

    Thanks again

I posted another message and then read the full post. I would say it has soemthing to do with recording to a network drive.... I am trying to see if this feature is support or not. I would assume not becuase of all the different types of networks out there. We can't be bogging down our DEV's with issues becuase you don't have your network configured correctly.

ASiDiE, it has definitely something to do with the network drive - I posted that to the bugs forum. I am sure that it is a bug - in all other places (e.g. music or movies location, the UNC paths work perfectly).
