Here are the logs you asked for and the test description :
(Before the test, the last selected channel while last session was a 'buggy' one / timeshift on, in order to have a clearest log )
    1-Started MP and pressed tv : : Black/mute screen.
2-Switched timeshifting off : Fully rendered Channel
    3-Switched timeshifting On : again Black/mute screen
4-Pressed 'Record now' and wait a few sec ( Still black/mute but no err).
5-Pressed 'Stop record' , then went to recorded tv, and started playing the file : The channel has been recorded and play fine.
    6-Stopped MP

I hope it will help you. I can do more if necessary , just let me know.

    Best regards.

Edit : This was done on RC3+1st cvs. Don't care about the date in the logs, this was done today ( i have to set it back ) .

because you havent used the automatic system specification posting feature from this forum (user cp to update it) i have missed, that you were using 2 TV Cards with WindowsXP.

Thats not possible with WindowsXP. You can only use 1 TV Card unless you replace mpeg2data.ax and PsisDecd.dll with the WindowsMCE 2005 RU2 versions of this 2 files.

But you can try to remove one of this 2 TV Cards and test if MediaPortal is working then. If yes, the issue is caused by Microsoft.
If the issue is still present when you use only one of this 2 Cards we need to take a closer look then.

A interesting question is also if you get the same issue if you test the cards seperatly.

one test with only Hauppauge WINTV NOVA T USB2 in your system
one test with only Pinnacle pctv 310i in your system.

:D for your help with testing!

I had exactly the same issue with
    1) nova-t-usb2 only
    2) The pinnacle 310i only
This is the first test i did.
Thanks for the info about mpeg2data & PsisDecd, i already put them and registered in my MP directory.
With 'non buggy' Channels, I even can record 2 channels at the same time with less than 40 % of cpu usage.
I'll update the automatic system specification posting feature for my next post.
In fact i only have two remaining bugs that are quite important : this one and another...

For Infinityloop , here is a scoop generated log for my issue with only the Nova-t usb2 in my system.
Tests and results are exactly the same :
    - Launch MP, then MyTV, with one of my two buggy channels (France 3 & W9 with mpg2 audio) that was selected in the previous MP session, In order to have a shortest log as possible.
    - TV is on Timeshift too,Channel is France 3 an, but Black/mute screen
    - I turn Timeshift off, screen is displayed, with sound
    - Turn timeshift on again, >> Black/Mute screen

EDIT : For more info, i also tested many decoder combinations

    Is this more helpfull ?

This same behavior is manifest in all ATSC cards tested at the moment which includes Vbox DTA-150, ATI HD Wonder, Fusion 5 lite.

The issue was solved by installing the 03-22-2006 CVS.
It was still there in 03-19-06
I had no time to see if the bug was fixed between these ones.
I'll report if i have more time for testing.
    Thanx for your great job.
    Best regards
