Hi chemelli

I have seen that you have remove the "Stop mce services" on build 23441 of mp.

Just one note, I have one computer running TvServer and 2 clients (bouth are Vista), I haven't check build 23441 because svn has not been update, But I have got and email update with the changes.

As far as I have see on the changes that you have made(build 23441) you are no longer going to "kill ehtray" this is going to give problems on Vista with mce and the remote. If you don't kill "ehtray" the remote is also going to send messages to the "ehtray" so mce is going to start. This is only going to happen on clients where there is not the TVserver running (I know tvserver has now the option to disable mce services using policies)

Also , Disabling mce using policies on the clients computers is not and option for me because I use both, MCE and MP client (not simultaniosly).

Using the policy is the only clean and correct way of handling this...You know that if you use autologon + MP autostart, you have a possibility that MP starts before ehtray and so the kill is meaningless ?

Sorry but this is not a MP related issue. If you want to use both, you have to create a batch/vb script that does the job for you and start it with IRSS translator for example.
