topbar not showing icons (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

right after starting MP, the b&w topbar works alright. But after having watched a video, the topbar is still functional, but does not show any icons any more.
I am running rc2 in windows7.
Anything I can do?

in the meantime, I updated to RC3 and RC4. The topbar behavior didn't improve. Is somebody listening, please.

What version of B&W are you using?

Topbar plugin enabled in Configuration?

Does the topbar work with Blue3 skin?

Hi aj1405,
thanks for hearing me.
I am running B&W 1.4, MePo 1.1 RC4, Win7x86. Topbar is enabled of course (and it`s working alright in the beginning, see original post). I switched to blue3 and it's exactly the same here. After having watched any video file, the topbar still works, but is rather hard to use because no icons are visible.

Any ideas on where to start to troubleshoot this?

Since you have the same problem in Blue3 I’m pretty sure it’s a MediaPortal and not a skin problem. This makes it a little out of my league. Your best bet is to try one of the MediaPortal forums.

The same happens to my skins when not using EVR renderer in windows 7!

I can confirm that this is not a skin related problem. My setup is similar to Patrick-Mav's and Tgx's - MP 1.1.0.0 on 32-bit Win7 and VMR9 - same problems I see on Blue3wide and on Black Glass skins. Problem affects not only TopBar (invisible buttons) but also some other menus (missing backgrounds).

With EVR enabled I can't watch DVB-T HD channels - video gets messed up. Only SD works. I didn't find where the problem with H.264 AVC HDTV and the EVR is. So I can only use DMR9, but then I have this issue with the Top Bar and some menu backgrounds. And since my main remote control is a wireless mouse I really missing a TopBar to work well.
