Hi i really dont thing there are some nice touch screen to find, so i build one off my own And connect it to my TV, look at the result.......

Does the touchscreen function as a standalone PC or is it display only??

The touchscreen is only display! Computer is hide away, i have full control over the media i have, but no TV-tuner in the PC. And i have set the screen to click on release, so i dont have the scrolling in the main screen at mediaportal. but its cool, ever when the MP is not that compatibel with touch, i think its ok.

It's cool, but what do you use the touchscreen for? Is it just eyecandy or is it easier to use than the remote?

Hi this is nice.
I can see the use for it like this:. You want to listen to radio, or your MP3 collection - without turning on the TV.

So I would like to hear more on your setup - how did you make it, and how much did it cost.

My setup its normal with clone screen, its can handel 1280x800 so its okay for the LCD TV.
I have spend much time on it, the touchpanel cost about 220$ in china, and the cabinet is made in Denmark i have designet it, and a laser cutting firma have cut it. The total cost is about 400 euro, 3000kr. without freigt and tax.
In the next version, there will bee some buttoms, for on/off the screen and a buttom for power connector on the motherbord.
