Trick to fix SB Live won't mute sound anymore
From time to time windows XP decides to stop making my MCE 2005 remote to mute. I found that the whole mute checker on the mixer is broken somehow.
The fix is to remove the SB Live soundcard from the device manager, and restart.
Windows will auto find the driver again and tada, mute works again.
I have to do this every once and a while
