Synopsis::

I have trouble after watching TV for about 20 seconds, the sound dissapears and its a lag on the display.. It seems like the whole program lags.

With timeshift on it works fine. I have tried lots of decoders, but nothing seems to work.

That appears to be a codec issue. I'm still playing around with mine to try and keep it from stuttering. Currently, I'm using the nvidia purevideo codec for video and ac3 for the audio. It works pretty well, but it still needs tweaking.

Is that incorrect? You cant use an encoder in place of a decoder.
