Hi,
It would be nice if the TVEngine would try to descramble a channel when it cannot tune to it, even if it was found as FreeToAir. The reason being is that I have a network provider who does broadcast some channels marked as FreeToAir which are scrambled in reality. After a few chats with the support they said everything is fine, because the SetTop Box tries to descramble a channel automatically as a fallback, so it works with their hardware --> why care about customers?
I did export the channellist, changed FreeToAir to "False" in the XML, and imported it again, and now I am able to watch these channels. This is a pretty good workaround for me, but it would be nice not having to care about such situations in the future And as a side-effect it would maybe avoid some support requests about non-working CI-Modules.
Thanks for the great job you are doing on MP,
