Hi team,
I'm not if it was just me or not.. but did this awhile ago and forgot to mention this.

one time by mistake I selected "each provider" to create groups for, then did a scan..... yikes

I ended up with something like 400 groups and needed to delete all the groups and redo the scan. Guess what?

I only had the option of deleting 1 group at a time.. so for about 30 mins I had to manual select click delete (waited for about 30 seconds) select... click delete (waited again about 30 seconds again...) it had to do a refresh I think.... but let me tell you.. I've said some not so nice things about MP.. so please please forgive me... :D

I'm sure I could've gone into a database editor and removed it but didnt want to mess that up.

let me know if you need logs... ( Im willing to do this all over again !! ) hehe

anyways... thought I help somehow from users going insane

Vff

    AW: try removing 400 groups!!

    ++++ 1

    absolutely necessary, especially because I always have to rescan after updating MP.
    (Importing channel list causes a black screen for a few channels, after rescanning everything is back to normal)
