Hi
I need some tips here. sometimes my recordings get fu*c.. up. I cannot find why and it happens on both scrambled and free to air channels. I usually have the TVE3 uptodate and it has been like this forever.

and I found the below in the TsWriter.log
Is this normal AND what is the knc CARD? I have twinhan card!
What is PCR rollover detected! ?, should it be there or is this an indication that something is wrong?

Update: I got an logging enabled TsWriter from Tourette. Will try that for a day and see what comes up:UPDATE

Hi Lar282,

I would be interested to know _how_ your recordings got f***d up, what were the symptoms. I've had issues for some time with recordings where they seem to have been truncated somewhere in the middle. Sometimes after 5 mins, sometimes after 1 hour. Very annoying...!

I checked all logs but could not find any errors or warnings. This was with recent SVNs of TV3E. I played with .ts vs .mpeg, different channels, recoding to various discs, etc, but nothing helped.

I had an idea this worked further back and today I rolled-back to SVN from Sept 14th. Now it works! I've done several recordings during the day and all of them completed successfully.

Can I borrow the logging-enabled tswriter to give it a try here as well?

Hi lar282,

Yesterday I installed TV3E 16445 where Tourettes made some fixes for "PCRs" whatever that is... It seems to have cured my issue.

I went through a long list of recordings and the pattern was fairly consistent. It was recordings for TV4 and TV6, which are on the same mux. No recordings from other muxes failed. Was it the same for you?
