Description:
Especially for the German part of the Astra satellite system, all really important channels can be received in one band. So in principle it would be possible to use more dvb-s cards than direct lines to the multiswitch. I currently have three sat cards and only two lines from the switch (third one is connected via a splitterbox plus DC blocker). It would be convenient to have a configuration mode to define a card as master and 1-n other cards as slave. If no master card is available anymore for the TV server, all channels that are not receivable within the currently tuned transponders (that's already implemented) and the current received band of the master card (that would be new) should be marked as unreceivable.
This function is already known from several consumer receivers with twin tuner.
