Installation steps according to your videos went well.

But as soon as I want to watch TV by starting The Media Portal the Config/Einstellungen Programs tell me
no TV card detected/Keine TV Karte installiert

The same applies to the "Channels".

/No channels available/ Keine Programme verfügbar.

The TV Server found all the channels and the TV Card (cinenrgy 1200)

Can anybody help?.

    Hi,

You should skip MediaPortal's detection of tvcards and channels. You only have to do this for the tvservice. Then, just install the TvPlugin for MediaPortal and you're ready to go. Make absolutely sure that in MediaPortal setup itself no TV cards are listed at all, otherwise the old tvengine (the one from MediaPortal) will try to occupy your TV cards! This will obviously conflict with the new tvengine.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

    Hallo Michel,

thanks for your prompt reply. I did exactly what you recommended above.
I skipped the TV cards and channals in the mediaportal Setup and proceedet as shown in the videos.

My problem is that after I have installed everything according to the videos and your hints and start the media portal and click TV there are no entries. Neither are there any channal entries.

    What did I wrong?

Maybe you failed to install the TvPlugin into the MediaPortal installation directory. If so, you'll be missing the option "TV Streams" in MyTV Home. if it's there but there aren't any channels listed, then perhaps the client doesn't communicate correctly with the tvservice.

I did everything as you described
Could it be that the SQL Server Express and the media portal and mediaportal server have to be on o n e partition.
I split them up. I´ve SQL on C) and the mediaportal including all plugins ans the tv-engine on D)
