Synopsis::

Hello,
I've got a small problem concering my TV card access.

Problem:
Mediaportal tells me:
"TV-card is not detected."
I am using a KNC TV-Station DVB-C Plus card.
This card offers WDM and BDA drivers.
I got the original TV-Application to work (WDM) and also WatchTVExPro Demo (BDA-driver)
I tried to configure Media Portal with both drivers.

Also your nice MediaPortalSupport tool couldn't detect my TV-card?
The card is shown in the windows device manager without an exclamation mark.
Thank you for your tips

Axel

Follow the wiki entry on adding a new card. I would concentrate on just one type, either WDM or BDA, not both. I think that the BDA (digital) side will be easier to set up, and you will get a better looking picture, if your PC can handle it.

Hi Paul,
thanks for the answer, but I expected the card to be detected automatically.
I will try and keep you informed.
Thanks
Axel
