Ive started a clean install of MP1.0 for the first time on my htpc system. Its running XP Pro on SP3. Im having problems getting tv engine running though, everytime i try to configure it, it says:
"failed to create database"
Im installing MP on my work pc as a test run before installing it at home (i dont have internet at home so am downloading all the components ready to take home). my work pc has similar system specs to mine at home but doesnt have a tv card installed, is this the reason im having problems with the tv database??
im using MS SQL server 2005 by the way.
any help would be appreciated
