Okay,
So all of a sudden many of my cable channels are inconsistent. It seems the cable provider in my area (shaw cable) has moved some channels around. So, i deleted the old list and autoscanned via the setup utility to bring in the new lineup. Well, it seems that for whatever reason MP will not recognise a few of the channels. THey simply don't show up in the autoscan, but furthermore, the channels that MP puts in lieu of the originals are completely different. FOr example. channel 14 on my standard, normal everyday tv in the living room is KSPS, but MP on my bedroom HTPC brings in channel 14 as something completely different.
Two weeks ago i painstakingly went through all my tv channels on MP and renamed them to match them up to the actual channels they were supposed to be. Now however, it seems pointless as some channels are simply completely missing.
does anyone have any information at all that can solve this? or is there anyone else with this problem? Please help....
