Ok I had to wipe the PC and reinstall the MP server. Everything went well and I followed the same guide I have 3 times now.
My new issue is:
TV Guide only shows "Label Missing!" Label Missing!"
And along the left side is reads "#TV.Guide.ChangeGroup" but no guide.

    AW: TV Guide Label Missing

Look after the mytvguide.xml and see if there's everything alright in it..
Before that, could you also check if tvservice.exe is running in task manager?

    Thank you for your reply

    tvservice is running
mytvguide.xml in default and wide are untouched
I doubt either item is relate to my issue

I am using colossus card and schedulesdirect
I mapped the channels but I suspect I messed something.
Do I need to select the channels in the epggrab section with schedules direct?
I recall something about setting a naming convention. The answer should be in the logs of experience of the good people on here.

If I look in channel mappings I see the 500 cable channels but under "all channels" I can only see my OTA channels from the 2nd tuner card.

    HELP

TvController: Deinit failed - The database backend (provider MySQL) could not be reached.

Sounds like some issue with the database connection.

I cannot find info on this...
If I am using colossus with schedules direct, do I need to select anything in TV EPG grabber? Is TV EPG grabber just for channel data sent over the channel?

    Hi thirdoff

The TV EPG grabber is irrelevant for the Colossus. It only handles EPG broadcast over the air, and the Colossus doesn't get any of that.

Still same error "Label Missing" like pictured above.

I can stream now but I cannot change channels (without using eventghost) or see guide data.

    Confirmed and Solved:

Gp to radio and create "All Channels", added radio station to all channels and my guide is back. I would have never thought to look at radio for my TV guide issue. thanks mm1352000
