"using tve3 .. timeshift starts but tv doesnt turn on..no picture. going back to earlier svn.. it works again"

i use dvbs. my tv card is a skystar2.
tv is not working at all in mp. the tv preview function of tv3 is working. that means tv3 is ok.

Wow, your persistence is amazing! Twelve posts with exactly the same content in only 2 days. I have heard that something like this might seriously discourage the developers to respond.

I hope it is not the case since we all want MP to be very stable, but maybe in future you should rather consider a single post with as much information as possible.

    Good luck with the problem.

U need to install VERY latest SVNs of tvserver, MP and tvplugin!

    --> at MediaPortal.Player.BaseTSReaderPlayer.ITSReader.SetRequestAudioChangeCallback

this one tells me that something is not in synch.

    try and re-register regsvr32 tsreader.ax

wrong. not in 2days, all in the same night.
    and wrong again.
devs should be thankfull, that testers spend the whole night to verify a error that isn t fixed since many versions. so they can easier check whats wrong.
the only one who gets discourage, is the tester who spend his time in writing error and bug reports, if he reads your command.
instead of beeing thankfull, that one takes his time to verify and test of a error, you critize that. do you think its fun for me and i don t have better things to do???
sorry, your command makes me angry, so i better stop at this point....

I'm just wondering that did you even try to sync MP and TVE3 SVN versions as Gibman asked to do since the logs clearly show that there is a issue with interfece between MP and TVE3.

Maybe you can read my post again. I certainly did not COMMAND you. Anyway, not intentionally. I made a comment about your persistence and I gave you MY OPINION based on my observation from reading various forums for years now. According to me, a single thread with the result of all your hard testing work would be better. In this thread, you could have mentioned that it was tested with SVN 1, SVN 2, SVN 3, etc.
You will also notice that I tried to encourage the DEVS to help you out.

PS – Please, this is not an attack on you.

sorry, if i understood you wrong. yes, i saw this as an attack at my work.
i saw that the newst versions are not working, so i tried the earlier version to see if the error is also in them.
thought that would help to fix it.
with a single thread, i have had not so much work, and maybe it a better overiew. right.
i am glad that we have cleard that missunderstanding.

i wish you and all others a merry christmas.

now steps to solve this proplem and get tv working again:
    get MediaPortal-svn--12-23-2007--01-04-Rev16708.exe and tvengine3-12-23-2007--01-09h--Rev16708.zip.
you will get an error by installing the tv client plugin. just ignore it and click continue.

if you install this both versions, tv should working again. have veryified that and hope, that helps also others infectet by the talking proplem.

It just happened to me as well.

Only using Radlight's Filtermanager I discovered that somehow an old Version of TsReader.ax could be found in %WINDIR%\System32 !
I've unregistered and deleted that, reregistered the tvplugin's one (in MediaPortal dir), rebooted and all was fine again.

However I've got NO idea how it got into the system dir...
