In my last ditch effort to try and get my htpc actually running, I need some help desperately. After weeks of sorting graph errors, hardware problems, etc I now have this one problem to resolve.....

I cannot get audio for TV. After scanning, I got all channels but only 1 or 2 have audio. The audigy 2 card is configured in PVR but I don't get any sound in PVR either. I now have no idea what else to check or how to fix this.

Any suggestions?? pleeeeeease........

Hi Danger55,
Do you have a on board sound card in you PC as well?

If so check to make sure the on board sound card is turned off in the BIOS.

Yes I have onboard and it is disabled. Onboard sound has issues which is why I got the sound card.

Everything works fine with this sound card- except media portal's tv

Have you got the TV Cards sound out connection (there is one on the picture on the leadtek website) linked to the motherboard ?

If you have, usually connected to aux\cd try disconnecting and let the sound go through the PCI bus, if not then try connecting the cable. one or other should solve the problem.

ps make sure in system volume control aux\cd is not muted.
