This is currently not planned by the team, but who knows what future brings? It's open source, so maybe someone interested wants to implement it? There are many users who'd be more than happy with it. (More and more users have more than 1 tuner (or DVB - PIP with programs from the same mux) anyway...)

i know My tv not allow you to switch channel while recording, but fusion HDTV dual digital has the ability to do so (record the movie in PIP and switch channel in main screen). i'm just wondering any programmer willing to implement this function in to myTV in near future

If you have both tuners set up properly you should be able to record one channel and watch another easily, or record two channels and watch one of the recording channels. If you cannot use both tuners then you have a different issue.

As a slight addition: you won't see the recording in a PIP screen.
You might want to check your settings, you can assign a channel to a TV card somewhere in the TV setup part. For a proper dual tuner setup, each channel has to be added to each tuner and in the tuner setup (somewhere around there too), you have to select a usage for recording and viewing to both tuners.

:D, it works now but it will be perfect with PIP
