I cannot start MP Config nor MP because the TV Plugin is still version 1.1.1. I followed the simple instructions to update my MP install. The install program shows (on retry) that the MP TV Plugin is updated already. When I check the TV Plugin file version in the plugin folder, it shows version 1.1.1.0

Can someone please post the correct TV Plugin.dll so I can update?

    Thanks!

    -Chuck

    ... okay ...

I updated my client without problems, so I copied the TV-Plugin.dll from there.

Devs should still be away that this issue can happen.

    Thanks

Me too... :( This is the second time this happens to me. Why does the installer claims that the 1.1.2 TVplugin.dll is installed when it's not? Last time I unpacked the whole installation package (1.1.0) and managed to locate the dll-file, buried deep down in the structure. It would be interesting to know why thew installer fails in this peculiar way.

If you use your favourite tool for unpacking EXE-archives, you will find tvplugin.dll in something like this: (depending on your installation, of course...)

    C:\Users\media\Downloads\MediaPortalSetup_1.1.2\deploy\package-tvengine\$[66]\Windows

I used "7-zip" to unpack the 1.1.2 package.

Same problem here. Followed upgrade instructions. No correct TV plugin. :(

Solved the problem by using the method described above

Just unzip the 1.1.2. installation package and replace it manually. Not exactly user-friendly, but at least it works after that...

I seem to have the same problem, but am not able to solve it.

I have tried extracting the tvplugin.dll file from the installation file with 7-zip. However, I would like to know exactly where I am supposed to copy the file to?
I found a tvplugin.dll at c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows and copied the newly extracted file to this folder (made a backup of the original first). Then I restarted the computer, but get an error message when I try to view a tv-channel: No Signal

My system is running on Windows 7 64-bit.

Any help is very much appreciated.
