Okay I have decided to upgrade my system from xp to vista due to a few annoying problems which i had in xp which i could not solve. Now i have some in vista
. Basically if i put the pc into standby when i resume the tvservice says "unknown error" if i try to watch tv. I fixed this by using the reinitialize tuner function in the powerscheduler plugin. But if i do this although the tv works on resume the pc will not wake up for a scheduled recording. It only wakes up for a scheduled recording if this option is not ticked which means I am out of ideas. I would like to know if it is possible for me to manually reinitialize the tuner, because if it is i could script this in vb or even write a batch file to do it for me and this would solve the problem. If not does anyone have any ideas please...thanks...
