Summary:
When planning a recording (on all channels), it is impossible to just record shows in the channelgroup you are currently in.
Area:
TV area - Record option
Description:
At the moment, when planning a recording for 'every time on every channel', it's impossible to record in the present (or other) channelgroup. Recording applies for ALL channels in the 'All Channels' group. But I think that is not what most people want, they want to record in the channelgroup they are presently in. They don't want to be given a lot of results from channels they're not interested in at that moment.
For example, if my kids (if I had any
)want to record Maried with Children 'every time on every channel', I don't want to record movies with the same name on some porn channel, that is not in the present channelgroup! (I was really surprised when I thought I was going to watch a comedy show and all I got was an 'active' woman on my 42" TV!
)
My suggerstion is to make the recording option just for the channelgroup you're presently in, not for all channels.
Or give the option to choose the group to record in.
