As per title, i did a rescan of my channels yesterday and now all of my TV recordings have disappeared from within MP. The .ts files are still present in my recordings folder, but for whatever reason the SQL seems to have corrupted the links to MP. Ive tried importing the folders into recorded TV from within config, but not all of the folders/recordings are showing for some reason.

Ideas anyone?

    Hi eetaylog

Please save us some time guessing and post logs as required by the support forum rules. It couldn't be easier if you use the watchdog (in this case use option 3).

Some channels might have changed name? Maybe that causes the missing recordings. Just a guess.

No, i can think of some channels that definately have the same name but the shows have still been lost. Thanks though.

I have the same issue some time back.

Here is the post that has the solution.

    CD C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\bin
    mysqlcheck mptvdb --auto-repair -e -u root -p

open a command line and enter the above, you will need to enter password MediaPortal.

    Thanks guys,

PD, is that all ill need to do to repair the database? If not ill just quickly use Ausdigitals method from the other thread. Will try these when i get home,

    Many thanks.
