Today I had a very strange problem with Mediaportal.
I am using Mediaportal 1.1.1.0 and the TV-series version previous to the last one.
All of a sudden I could not watch recorded programs and movies in Mediaportal. When selecting a movie or a recorded program Mediaportal hang. Nothing written in the logs. I have not done any new configuration or installation in Mediaportal. This problem was on two of my computers. The other two with the exact same configuration did work as previous. I did upgrade to 1.2.0 alpha to see if that did solve my problem. It did not. Later in the day my other two installations stopped working without me doing any modifications. I then did try to find the cause of the strange problem. I started to delete database files from the Database directory. When I did delete the databasefile related to TV-series the problem disapeared. I copied back all the deleted databasefiles except from the TV-series one. It worked. I deleted the TV-series database file on all my computers and it worked right away on all of them. I have now upgraded to the latest version of TV-series and hopes that the strange problem will not come back. I have noticed that TV-series creates backupfiles of the databasefile once in a while. Could this new creation of files have something to do with the hanging.
Does anybody else have the same problem?
