Everything I have seen so far for TV series requires you to take the episodes and rip them into stand alone 'units' and rename them to a specific format that allows for importing data via several TVdb online. My question is, I don't want to loose all of the extras that are on the disks and much prefer keeping my TV series on the DVDs that they came on. When I try to import them though, I get really strange results. Am I the only person who wants to keep their TV shows this way and is there an elegant solution to this problem?

Thanks,
James

You can manually add in TV series DVD's by inputting the imdb tt number of the show in the search box. I add "zz" in front of my TV titles in the sort by section so that all TV series are grouped together, separate from my movies. Version 8.0 of the MP plug-in due shortly will I believe make this easier.

To get individual episode data, you can use the TV Series plug-in and create symbolic links for each episode. However, TV series handling of iso's is currently broken so you may want to wait until they fix it, I believe it will be fixed in the next version.

Finally you can rip your DVD's along with their extras and import into TV Series.
