Hi just installed 1.0.1. Problems is that no TV cards are detected (although logs say that several retries are being done).

    1. running a multi seat setup so this is TV Server only
    2. full uninstall of MP
    3. upgraded SP2 for .net as this is a requirement
    4. installed 1.0.1
    5. no tv cards detected
    6. reboot
    7. same

    logs attached.

    Thanks,
    Ruud.

    Hi,
Try to delete all configuration files(xml) under "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Programdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\AnalogCard" you have to stop TV-Server first & then start it after delete.

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,
Attach the new tv.log to your post, need to see what it says (you might have to delete that analog folder if some rights policy kicks in).

    Regards

    Hi,
Seems like the same error, did you try with deleting analog folder?
You can also try to start setuptv.exe in tvserver root folder & see if it changes anything(i'll try to reproduce it here, but need to prepare comp for it first so it will take a bit time)

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,

no solution but just for trouble shooting:
copied three xml files from backup of the AnalogCards forlder (1.0 + last svn)
Start tv service just rendeders file empty.

Just read in another thread that this is most likely a fresh install issue and that updating from 1.0 will work..... going to test this and will report back....

    regards,
    Ruud.

    Hi,
Tested it here & upgrade worked just fine, but did any of you use "preload" cards?

    Regards
    Roy
