EDIT: first RC1 build was broken - please download a fresh build. ETA: 16:45 UTC

New file is located here: SourceForge.net: Downloading ...

Deinstalled old mp version and installed the RC1 and everything worked fine. As soon as i try to start the tv server i get a error message (see error.log). Firewall is turned off and the previous mp version (0.2.3 + nealy newest svn) worked fine.
I hade a similar error a few days ago when i tested the rule based tv scheduler

Any ideas ?

hmm not much in the logs, did you try the real hostname instead of the loopback adress (127.0.0.1)?

i haven't been able to put in anything in there.
I was never able the start the tv-service at all. It came right after the first start, so i'm not able to configure anything in the tv-server

Got the Same Problem here, got a screenshot of what happens after i try to open the TV-server COnfiguration.

Edit: Come to think about, This is the same error I get, as when earlier today I tried to install the Vista MCE TvClient Plugin on my new laptop. Don't know if this is in any way related...

    Same here!
I did a completely clean install and I've tried both MS SQL and MySQL. Connecting to the databse goes well. But when starting the service the error appears.

I'm running Windows XP and I've tried installing MP as a master server and a single seated installation. Both with the TV server.
