I can’t start my TVServer on my server!
- Before I elaborate further, I have to say that;
I have uninstalled and installed both the TvServer (various SVN’s) and the SQL server several times!
I have ‘opened’ for TCP/IP connection like your video says!
When I run the TVserver the first time after an install it asks me for login info for the SQL server – I type in the password, and can ‘successfully’ test the connection (and then I press ‘ok’!)
Then I try to start the TvServer again it says something like “The database could not be upgrade, do you want to (re)create the database? [Yes/No]” (I press ‘yes’)
Then I wait for a LONG time and the computer says “TvServer not started – do you want to start the server? [Yes/NO] (I press ‘yes’)
But it does NOT start – I also try to start it ‘manually’ through services, but it hangs for a while and tells me that the TvServer can’t start in a timely fashion!
I have more or less the same experience on another machine… - the (re)create thing!
It’s probably not a ‘TvServer-error’, but more an ‘SQL thing’ – but does anyone have any experience with this sort of problem?
