Hi, just a quick question, I have search the forum regarding the TV client plugin but all I can find is install the client and run mediaportal mytv, it should prompt for the hostname or IP address of the server.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Mediaportal and TVClient Plug in few times already but the myTV does not display that window. Am I missing something?

the TV server is already installed and found my Card (good thing coz the mediaportal does not support my card :( ).

Please help :D

    Hi,

hmm. I must confess I haven't tested the server since a few days, but in earlier builds the client never asked for the server (when on same machine). Should check it again, if I find the time....

    Got the same problem.
Also running SVN 11519 on MP and on TVserv.

Running the MP (client) does not display the TV setup page (with hostname/ip) but displays the normal MP TV screen.

3day's ago i tested an older SVN, and it worked well..

I think it only shows the setup page if it cant connect to the server right away. So if you have server and client on the same PC and the TVserver process is running it will not show the setup page.

You guyes with problems try to change the channel or something maybe it works ;)

looks like client plugin isn't installed correctly.
    un-install the plugin and re-install.

    Did..

I checked the MP client -> \MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows for the TVplugin.dll.
so the plugin should be installed oke.

    still no-go

(not running on the same system!)
