Since MP 1.1 the TVS crashes some times.
Bad thing is that there is nothing in the log after the crash that could help, but what might help is the error in the logs when I try to restart the TVS -> plz see attached logs

I have to reboot to make TVS work again.

AW: TV Server Crash and Restart Error

OK, so i will reply tio myself. :)

I just have the slide feeling that this issue is related to my Tevii S470 DVB card.
I haven't had that effect before with my TT 3200. But anyway i don't want to switch back, i would like to stick with my Tevii 470 and solve this issue with the help of the MP team.

I found another thread with a similar issue like mine: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/tvservice-stopping-when-switching-channel-84552/
If my TVS crashes it is also to 99% due to channel switching like in the thread above.
This guy also has a Tevii card.

Today i upgrade the drivers for my Tevii to the latest version which just came out yesterday: 20100830
I will report if this helped. (may take a few days to be sure)

Anyway i realized that in the TVS app directory there is a file named Tevii.dll, which looks like that the MP team created a separate lib for Tevii devices. Maybe if the new driver does not help someone of the devs can check this dll...?

AW: TV Server Crash and Restart Error

Still no answer from the team ....

So i keep posting new logs.

With the new Tevii driver the problem somehow still exists.
The System is stable for ~2 days, then TVS crash.
Last time, MP did nothing but presenting the home menu screen and TVS crashed.

Attached you will find the logs for the crash and the log collection after i succesfully restarted the TV service.

-> Means this time TVS did not crash during channel change.

    Can someone plz check this?

Your tv server stopped when the epg grapper started.
Try to disable epg grabber. ( disable "allow this card to grab epg" in the tv card options.)

Thanks for the answer, but this is no solution, just a workaround.
I want to have my card grapping epg data.
