Ive had this problem for a while but has not really been a major issue, just putting it out there in case anyone has an answer.
Im currently running mediaportal 1.0 final with vista. Installed and set up fine. everything working great. but...
After the initial install, setup and scan of channels in tv server i am unable now to enter the options in DVB-T and the analog section of my tv card (HVR-4000).. TV Server simply freezes, brings up the title i.e dvb-t Hauppauge WinTV.. but the main screen options stay with whatever was last selected. The same applys for the analog side of the card. (this is in the TV Server settings Tab)
This stops me doing any scans etc for that side of the hybrid card. I can however enter the options for the dvb-s side of the card (which i dont use). I also can add channels manually -as long as i can find the tuning frequencys mux etc
I was able to scan directly after installing MP + TV Server but after this problem started. This was a clean install.
Short of doing another clean install does anyone have any ideas?
My error log in TV Server is below after selecting dvb-t
