Hello everyone.

I have a single seat configuration with MP and TV Server running on the SAME machine.

I have serious problems getting TV Server 3 to work.
When I use MP 0.2.2 stable OR MP 0.2.3 RC3 + latest SVNs alone, eveything is working perfectly.
Switching times from one channel to another is below 1 second.
No crashes, no picture glitches or whatsoever.

Now I tried using the new TV Server 3 (although latest SVN).
Scanning Channels works fine, but as soon as I start MP (TV Server plugin is installed) and want to watch TV, problems begin:

I can hardly switch channels. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Most of the time, I can only switch between channels on the same transponder (e.g. German TV stations Pro7, Sat1, Kabel1, N24). As soon as I switch to another transponder, e.g. RTL, the screen goes black and remains so.
MP, however, doesn't crash. I can exit the TV menu and start watching a video etc...

I tried every setting, tried to select different decoders (only MPV/MPA-decoders work; on the other available decoders I get a "Couldn't start timeshift" error).

Does anyone out there have any idea what could be the problem here?
At this point I can't use the TV Server at all.

Thanks.

Heiko

Run the 'MPTestTool2.exe' from the main MP folder.

Run MP and execute the functions that cause problems within MP.

Then post the 'MediaPortalLogs.zip' log zip file that is produced when you close MP.

The DEVS can then see your logs and maybe see what is the problem

Unfortunately I already have uninstalled the TV Server again.
Otherwise I wouldn't be able to watch TV at all.

I can, however, install it again and run this test.

    Best regards,

    Heiko
