Hello all
I installed the MP Server von a Compaq Evo N800w Notebook with its above specifications, and W-Lan.
The problem I have currently is, that I can watch TV on the Evo N800 Notebook, but if i try to watch TV on my HP nc8230, I'm not able to get a stream. I can open a connection to the TV Server, but will not get a stream.
Any ideas what is wrong in my configuration? (Firewall is disabled)

can you view the tvguide on the client ?
if you can then you are succesfully connected to the server. if you can't see the tvguide then you aren't connected. if this is the case then it is firewall/ports issue.

if you can view the guide, but can't watch livetv, then it could be a codec issue. does the tvserver config tool say that it is streaming the channel to the client ?

Hi,

Try to find sqlservr.exe and sqlbrowser.exe from your sql server and allow them in your (Windows) firewall...
That was my problem. I had allow only the other one, bot not the other.
