TV-Server unable to switch channel (1 Viewer)

Today i set up a new HTPC. First i used the actual Hauppauge MCE driver, reminding it would have a faster switching ability. Scan worked fine. When starting Mediaportal first time after a clean reboot. Everything works fine when starting TV. When i then change channel everything is gone. TV Server is unable to start timeshifting. Changing back to previous channel also fails. I then have to restart PC to get MP back working.

I changed Hauppauge driver to normal actual version, no change. I also replaced TV Card by another Hauppauge, no change.

I got exactly the same problems here: Last svns + MP 1.0 tested.
I try to switch channel some sconds nothing happens then TV message: "TV-Server is unable to start timeshifting"
TV-Card Technisat Skystar HD (DVB-S2) with latest drivers.

    logs in post#2 do not contain any channelchange at all.
    lohs in post#3 are missing all tv-server logs. mostlikely because the TestTool in RC1 has a bug which causes that it cant "find" the TV-Server logs.

    1.please install latest svn builds of mediaportal an tv-server
    2.start "MediaPortal Debug"
    3.reproduce the issue
    4.attach logfiles

    Hi,

    I have the same problem, but I am using a dedicated PC for the server application.
    After installing the neu 1.0RC1 on the server, the problem began, so I think the error
    is on the server.

    Here my server logs, hope they will help
    (look at 10:29)

    I'm having at least a similar issue. I've got a FusionHDTV 7 Gold that gets detected but never finds any channels on the autoscan in the configuration utility.

    Running Windows Vista Business x64

    I'm attaching all the logs. (I manually added the TV server logs to the zip file)

    EDIT: Nevermind, I found another thread that was closer to my problem it seems.

    Similar problem. Able to change channels on a single sat but not to other sats on a disecq switch (checked switch and switch setup first - of course). This happened with the latest SVN. previous to that couldn't change channels at all without restarting TVservice.

    Will provide logs as soon as I'm able.

    Now I got the complete logs.
    What I actually did was: start MP,
    do window mode,
    go to TV,
    choose channel via "channel",
    let tv run some seconds,
    then choose another channel,
    message: unable to start timeshift,
    then move back to mainmenue & quit.

    No improvements after the weekly build update.
    Also tried to use different values for timeshift file but no changes.
    But switching works with the built in tv function of MP.
    It have to be a problem with the tv server.

    Hi,
    mendola, you have some errors to some renderings devices, download & run Filmerit & fix those then test & attach logs again.
    You should also update to latest SVN so we can get more then one line in tv.log @ time(yeah it was a bug which it's fixed).
