Hi, hopefully this is an easy one for someone.
My PC keeps waking from sleep at 2.15am each night. The first thing in windows event viewer is a TV server event that says:
"PowerEvent handled successfully by the service."

Is there any reason why tv server might be waking my PC? I have windows update turned off as i initially thought it was that, but its still happening!

If its not mediaportal at all does anyone know how i can find out?

Thanks!

Of course :sorry:
Hopefully i've attached the right ones, there seem to be quite a few.

I actually think MP is innocent at the moment and that the culprit might actually be media centre update.

If you confirm that MP isn't the culprit then i'd be grateful.

Thank you!

No wake up times set by powerscheduler seen in log.

Anything else that may be updating\scanning at specific time, check task scheduler to see if anything has run during the night.

Cheers PD. I think you're right, its not MP, just a coincidence i noticed it happening after installing it.

I disabled the mcupdate thing yesterday and it didn't wake overnight. So i think M$ are to blame :-D

    Thanks.
