MediaPortal Version: MediaPortal 1.0 RC3 rev20432
Windows Version: XP SP3
I'm using mediaportal for about 6 month.
The TV service was always stable.
in the last week, I saw on several occasions that although the system was on no recording were made.
When I tried to open TV server Configuration I got an error message "the TV server is not running".
Rebooting solved the problem, but as I mentioned before, it came back after some time.
Later I saw that when the error accurse, although the service was running, restarting it solved the problem.
Today I checked the logs and I think is has something to do with my database (MySQL):
I found a log entry in the system event viewer:
Time: 17:21:07, source: ESENT description: wuauclt (2548) The database engine stopped.
Then I found in MP error log file :
2009-03-29 17:29:15.203125 [TVService]: Exception :Error: DatabaseUnavailableUnclassified
Gentle.Common.GentleException: The database backend (provider MySQL) could not be reached.
I think that the database become unstable for some reason…
What can I do ?
