While still using 1.0.2 it took about a minute for the Media Portal home screen to appear after powering on the PC (with SSD)
Now with 1.1 RC1 it seems to take an extra minute only for TV Service to start (so two minutes in total).

Maybe someone got a clue reading the attached logs.
Someone knows what's happening between the two events:
2010-02-21 12:48:22.387125 [PowerEventThread(7)]: TV service PowerEventThread 537
2010-02-21 12:49:12.074625 [PowerEventThread(7)]: TV service PowerEventThread 49353
Nearly a minute passes between the two. An error log is created also.

When tv server was running once, stopping and starting the service then is very fast. But the first start seems to take a lot if time now compared to 1.0.2

    1) No server side logs

    2) Client has non-RC1 version of TsReader -> 1.1.5 vs 1.2.9

    1) I did clear the folder c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\
then restarted the PC without autostarting Mediaportal and then zipped all the files in there and posted them here

What more should I provide excatly?

    2) I did a clean install of MP 1.1 RC1 - I even reinstalled XP SP3 before, so if there's something wrong with the ts reader version, then it comes from the MP 1.1 RC1 installer...

It was probably not a good idea installing the RC1 on my "productive system" and will go back there to 1.0.2 (but still can do testing on a separate harddisk I've got for this system).
Whereas this rather small problem is not the reason I'll step back to 1.0.2 but rather this:

It cannot come from the 1.1.0 RC1 installer as it contains only one TsReader.ax (and that is the correct version). So most likely you have the TsReader.ax from some other MP version (or maybe some other application, who knows?) Please check with GraphEdit in what folder TsReader.ax is loaded up).

Very strange I've installed not that much software on my HTPC. XP SP3 from scratch, necessary drivers, some codecs, MP Home Cinema and that's about it.
When searching for tsreader.ax I only find the one in the TeamMediaPortal directory.
Will investigate further as soon as I got time.
I've got Filtermanager and Graphedit installed.
Not sure how to check with GraphEdit in what folder TsReader.ax is loaded up.
I can add the filter in Graphedit - under DirectShow filter, and then I think Mediaportal tsreader or something like that. I've currently no access to the htpc - it's in use...
If I remember correctly clicking on + showed some info but no Filename. Maybe the filter is not registered correctly...
Or should I manually start timeshift and then open a stream in Graphedit to see what filters are auto loaded?
