When i switch between channels i have to stop the channel i am watching before choosing a new channel, or MP stops.
This works for a while. Then the machine freezes and a blue thin line shows at the bottom of the screen, this is the taskline in windows trying to pop up.
It is only a few pix high. And there is sound from a channel. All i can do now is ctrl+alt+del, there "MediaPortal - TV/full screen" and "ActiveMovie Window" is running. Have to shut down these and restart MP.

When i restart my machine i can switch between channels with no problems, but after a while i get the problem again.

Anone know why?

Is this a bug?

:D

I'm having similar problems since a week or two. On one client can't change channel, have to stop and select next from guide. On another client TV doesn't play at all anymore.

Just tried that; MP does not start.

[MPMain]: Main: MediaPortal v1.0.4.23831 is starting up on Windows XP ( Service Pack 3 ) [5.1.2600.196608]

[MPMain]: TvPlugin and MediaPortal don't have the same version.
Please update the older component to the same version as the newer one.
    MediaPortal Version: 1.0.4.23831
    TvPlugin Version: 1.0.4.23491

    Logs attached.

First time I used SVN, what am I doing wrong?

Problem with SVN solved with the help of CieNeSDi.

SVN shows the same behavior; takes 15 seconds to tune the first channel. When changing channel, image first freezes then disappears (black) and again then freezes on the last image of the previous channel. Looking at stream shows the new channel. Problem must be with the client.

When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging

Just re-installed TV-server 1.0.2 on existing XP Pro SP3 and MP-client 1.0.2 on clean XP Pro SP3 install (created September 13th) and it works. First channel shows after less than 5 seconds, channel change takes less than 5 seconds.

Now I'm trying to figure out what happened between September 13th and now that messed up both my clients (both XP Pro SP3). I suspect windows update but I do not see anything obvious. I know that a restore point before September 13th did not resolve the problem.
