For those of you, who are using DVB-S and can get no TV with newer CVS versions: Replace the InterOp.TunerLib.dll in your MediaPortal directory with the attached one.

This is not tested with DVB-T, maybe it should work too.....

Tested with CVS 12-01; 23:03, Timeshift and Recording is working.

Notice: This is no offical workaround!

Difficult to test for me, I've no DVB-C card. :(

but it seems, that your driver is not recognized. Which version of thwinhans BDA do you use?

Is Windows recognizing your card correctly?

    Hi,

I also experienced the problem with the new CVS's not being able to detect any channels. Then I used your hint to replace the file with the one you posted. Now MP indeed detects channels when using autotune.
But it never completes the scan, it fails, one time earlier, on time later in scan with an exeption warning. It says: Configuration.exe has encountered a problem and has to be closed. (If this is the correct translation of the german text displayed ;-))
I would be pleased, if you had any hint or solution, that could help getting through the scan properly.
PS: I used the CVS 2-12-14.07
    Thx

    Hello and welcome Seiborque,

I know about this problem. Right now I have only this solution:
Install 0.2RC1, configure MediaPortal with the Wizard as far as needed !
Do the satellitescan in the Wizard.
Delete all channels you don't need, sort our channel groups and so on.

Then install die CVS and replace the file. You can do the rest of your configuration yet.

BTW: What driver is this, you use? Mine is the MCE2005 Beta driver from the Hauppauge homepage (german)

At first, thx for the fast reply !!!:)

I would have done the steps you told me to do, but this unfortunately doesn't solve the problem, I get the same exeption in the channel search of RC1, too. "Configuration.exe has encountered a problem and has to be closed" (Perhaps it should be "detected" instead of "encountered" ;) )

Perhaps this has something to do with the driver?

I use the regular one from the hauppauge homepage (german), called "The driver on Cd 2.2"
    h*tp://www.hauppauge.de/pages/support/support_nova-s-plus.html
I think you are using another one, perhaps you could tell me where you obtained this driver, as I don't see any beta driver in the mce section on the hauppauge page.

I can recall, that I also had this problem, when I first installed RC1, but I don't know any more, how I managed to get through the channel search, without the exeption.
