Hello,

when I start watching any channel in MediaPortal, the video stutters every few seconds. It doesn't fully stop, but there is a slight stutter (enough for it to be annoying). The audio is fine all the time. This happens with both the WDM and the BDA drivers. When I watch the stream in VLC, I don't get stutters, but slight irritations every few seconds (they look like MPEG-artifacts, but only in very small regions). When I use MediaPortal's built in TV Engine, everything works flawlessly.

Greetings

Jonas

Hi,

I just tried recording something. The stuttering also is in the recording and the recording has no audio at all.

Where can you download the WDM driver? I can't find it at their homepage, and the telephone tech support said, there are no wdm drivers for the skystar 2 available.

I thought the standard Technisat driver was WDM. If it's not, then I tried the standard Technisat driver and the BDA one.

i have similar problems with skystar2 but only on some channels... some channels are always OK, some stutters no matter what i try... it's the same with bda or wdm drivers...
strange thing is that mytheatre works flawlessly on channels that stutters in mediaportal... i had this problem before with earlier versions of mp and having it now with latest 0.2.3.0 RC1.
any idea?

rgs,

Has anyone of you solved this problem?

I'm also getting stutters with my Skystar 2 on some channels when using tv-engine.

    Hi there,
I have the same setup as you Wizzard and had the same problems. I solved it today by installing ForceWare 93.71 here http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html (uninstall the newer drivers first).

If you are still having problems, download and install the KLite Codec Pack with the Cyberlink MPEG2 decoder. I've found that to work the best for me.

    Hope this helps :)
