Synopsis::

i can use any part of mediaportal (playback of DVD, MP3, VCD, Videos on harddisk) except for the TV. i use an SS2 (DVB-S), Driver version 4.22. in mediaportal it tells me "failed to start TV", in the setup there comes up the message "unable to create graph for this device!!"

first i wanted to post my problem directly to hardware, but when using the nice tool (MediaPortal Support) to get all the informations above, i just found out that this tool could'nt even find the driver of my TV card, nor even an audio and video codec, as you can see above. so i think this post is here right.
strange thing is: the TV card (SkyStar2) is installed and working with the original tv software as well as with other programs (progDVB and so on....)

other post in this forum were similar, but didn't help to solve this problem.

so... before anyone spends hours to think of this problem, could anyone who uses an SS2 TV card just tell me the driverversion he uses, and if possible the codecs he got installed?
i am glad for any hint, where to start changing or updating my system.
