I added the info about me beeing able to browse so we could rule out me having network problems
I updated the MP-TVseries.dll to the latest release for about five minutes ago... but still no luck...
here is a cut from the error log:
----
18.08.2008 18:16:31 - Found 11 unknown Series, attempting to identify them now
18.08.2008 18:16:31 - Retrieving Data from: http://www.thetvdb.com/api/789379adbid793/mirrors.xml
18.08.2008 18:16:52 - Can't connect to http://www.thetvdb.com/api/789379adbid793/mirrors.xml : The operation has timed out
18.08.2008 18:16:52 - Warning: No mirrors received, nothing will be downloaded!
---
As you can see... the problem is still there; in fact, it has been like this for a week :-/
I can't figure it out :-s
I had a look at the log file again, and I came across this:
---
18.08.2008 18:25:45 - Can't connect to http://www.thetvdb.com/api/789379adbid793/mirrors.xml : The operation has timed out
18.08.2008 18:25:45 - Warning: No mirrors received, nothing will be downloaded!
18.08.2008 18:25:45 - Retrieving Data from: /api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=battlestar+galactica&language=all
18.08.2008 18:25:45 - Found 0 possible matches for "battlestar galactica"
---
If you take a look at the line where the plugin tryes to retreive data, you'll see that the URL is missing the domain part.
It reads
"/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=battlestar+galactica&language=all"
but should read
"http://thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=battlestar+galactica&language=all"
If I paste the full URL path in my web browser I receive an XML document
Maybe this helps you to help me
