Moving form SVN 17566.(started up cleanly )

SVN 17587 fails to start cleanly and uses 100% cpu usage as SETUPTV starts. (similar to the problems posted by some in the 17566 thread)

Crashes which is caught by DW20.exe. (edit typo)

Reverting to SVN 17566 and the same problem persists, looks lik the DB must have been corrupted by the SVN 17587

Deleted databse and restart corrects for this but obviously you loose all your setup and recoring history data.

This leads to another long term bug that when editing details through setuptv entering the recording tab tends to crash the TVSERVICE, luckily you only do this the once but a forced DB deletion like this and you have to do it again.(logs1)

DWE20.exe???

Hi .. I checked my system and cannot find an EXE-File like that.

Have a clean windows 2003 server install, just the needed software for tvserver on it..

and everything runs smooth.

I had something similar which took my quite a while to figure out. It had to do with a corrupt MS SQL database and once I had removed it it was OK. I think the file showing up in the Windows Task Mgr was DW20.exe or something.

... strange.. but what is DWE20.exe ???

there is nothing about in google.. and I cannot find it on my system that is what confuses me.

To be honest.. I am happy .. had no crashes.. and I am testing a DVB-T DVB-S mix.. with 6 clients at the moment .. and everything works fine .. but I am using Build 17406

i dont know, my latest svn for my livingroom is from last week where the tvserver has a different svn version then the MP (!)... this works for me (for the moment)
