This SVN works well for DVB-S and S2 TV. Best channel switching and all major german channels work perfect.
However DVB-s radio seems broken. When switching radio station the sound disappears for about 2 secs. then continue playing the previous station for about 10 secs and then finally switch.
Looks like its buffering to long in the timeshift buffer ...

Same here.

DVB-S TV: better than ever (still some restarts needed for enabeling high band channels) but fast and reliable channel switch.
DVB-S Radio:
If TV is running: change to Radio station freezes MP and also can crash MP
If no TV is running: Exactly the same as described above.
If Radio is running: change to TV channel works fine.

With the latest releases TVServer is really much better !
Thanks !

Gregor

tomfrogger: no video/audio continues on lots of channels

I have solved the same issue. You had to rescan your channels , you find new channels with same name.
The new are working good , delete not working copies of channels.

Have been testing this release for a couple of days now, and everything seems to be working fine. (Using analogue cards on the server)
Server is stable(usually is), clients are working fine. (No hangs so far)
No sign of stuttering on the TV. Movies, music and more or less everything else I've managed to test, seems to be working perfectly now, Wow.... what a good product this have become.
Only small thing to complain a bit about, is the teletext which still isn't any good(Minor problem)

A great big thank you to all the developers, for putting so much time & effort into making Mediaportal the best HTPC program ever.
