I get the error:

"Unable to start timeshifting
and unknown error occured."

when trying to connect to the TV Server.

Edit: forgot to mention I get error registering IEFRAME.dll when installing the plugin, HRESULT: -2147467263

same here.

Error during installation and unknown error when starting MyTV.

I get the error:

when trying to connect to the TV Server.

I have had this error since at least SVN Revision 17140 and it will NOT attach to the TV Server Service at (for video) however I can browse the TV Guide but as soon as you attempt to watch any video (live, timeshift or recorded) TV Engine Service crashes.

MediaPortal needs to be at the same SVN revision.
Both MP & TVServer has had the DirectShow Library updated.
